The second edition of the NOVA Awards has been announced

Following the success of its first edition held in 2024, the NOVA Awards are back, honoring best practices in innovation, sustainability, and dissemination within industrial processes that incorporate solids and fluids technologies, as well as emission capture and filtration systems.

The call for entries for the second edition is now open. The awards, jointly promoted by the Exposolidos, Polusolidos, and Expofluidos trade fairs , will be presented on February 10, 2026 , at 6:15 p.m., during the opening day of the trade fairs, at La Farga in L’Hospitalet .

With the NOVA Awards , “we want to promote research and innovation, but also encourage sustainability in industrial processes and, above all, give visibility to solids, fluids, and emissions capture and filtration technologies, which, ultimately, is the objective of the international trade fairs Exposolidos, Expofluidos, and Polusolidos ,” the organizers emphasize.

Applications can be submitted in three categories: Research in Industrial Processes (university or technological institute); Innovation in Industrial Processes; and Special Jury Award.

The jury will especially value projects that provide innovative solutions using solid, fluid, or emission capture and filtration technologies; that introduce sustainable improvements and promote the use of renewable energy; and that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. They will also consider applications that offer an innovative and informative perspective on technological advances and that have not previously been recognized with a NOVA Award.
